The Reading League: Reading Buddies (K-2)
The instruction provided by Reading Buddies is sequential — meaning you must start in Season 1 on Episode 1. Reading Buddies does a good job of carefully sequencing, teaching, and pronouncing their material for young learners.
Other “fun” instructional videos often make errors in sequencing (i.e. teaching concepts too early or in an unstructured order) or pronunciation (i.e. adding an extra sound, such as pronouncing B as /buh/ rather than /b/). These are key components to helping dyslexics improve their reading and spelling skills, so please be mindful of the information your child is exposed to.
