Who We Are and What We Do
Uncommon Good appreciates the unique strengths of students with dyslexia and their right to an equitable education. To that end, we offer screenings, structured literacy tutoring, vocabulary and world knowledge workshops, audiobook clubs, academic support , social/emotional support, one-to-one advocacy, and self advocacy training.
Uncommon Good is collaborating with local schools to improve literacy instruction and support for all students, specifically in the area of dyslexia. Our services include research, consulting, coaching and professional development.
The dyslexia department serves a select number of students that attend public schools within local school districts, and most of whom are registered in our Connect to College program.
